Look! See out there,
The beautiful greenery everywhere.
What splendour, what grace, with amazing facade,
But it all started melting away.

The luscious green hills, the birds so divine,
How it was meant to be for all of time.
Then we came along, we ran it amuck,
And it all started melting away.

CRACK! A tree falls, loudly hitting the ground,
Giving despair to all animals that surround.
The rainbow of creatures, plants, and trees,
Is swiftly melting away.

The scenery, so fine, that I loved since childhood,
Is slipping through my fingers, like sand, for good.
That yearning for more, to touch the sky,
Is why it will never stop melting away.

The beauty of which we once used to boast,
Is rapidly burning, turning to toast.
The natural world’s life can’t end this way,
So come together now to stop it melting away.
