Laughter towards our crimes pictured
Our smiles engloved in Polaroid form
Whichever is better? I’m unsure

A moment caught in a flash
A part in time now in my hand
My sister to the bitter end
My dear, my love, my greatest friend

It’s the images I hold dear
When my mind is completely gone
Centred in the middle of the white outline
Our youth captured from a much younger time

And when I’m old and grey
And my number is up
My years fallen slim to none
My pictures will go on for generations to come

But still my dear you’ll remain for eternity
In my mind your face is carved
But when I pass your face with still be seen
And all will know what true friendship means
