I live close to Earth
Just one street away
We say hello to each other
Every day!
I have a special job
In Earth’s big house
I tell people it’s time for bed
Silently like a mouse
One side of Earth is wide awake
Awoken by my good friend Sun
I have to go to the other side
To get the job done
I do this all the time
Night and day
It’s the same routine
Oh how I wish I could go away
I stay true to my job
Truer than ever
Because Earth
Will be my best friend forever
