More that just a pair of gloves

To you they’re just a pair of gloves,
But to me they’re everything.
They've been with me from the start,
They hold an enormous spot deep down in my heart.
They keep me fighting until that final bell,
They pull me though even when I am going through hell.
They've been with me for the highest of highs and the lowest of lows,
I know I can rely on them to deliver gut wrenching blows.
They've helped me overcome some of my biggest fears,
They've caught every ounce of my blood sweat and tears.
So to you they might just a pair of gloves,
But to me there my life support.
