My flowers, they would smell of spring,
as I listened to the white doves sing
the scent of fresh florals flowed in the breeze,
My oceans of marine blue,
provided you with fish and beauty,
My rivers provided you with water,

I gave you everything,
So why are my oceans rising?
and why are my ice caps melting?
Why has my fresh air gone black as death?
and why have my white doves bled and bled?

My piercing pleas for mercy go without answers,
buried in the sounds of your chainsaws and axes
Have my fruits not fed you your fill?
Have my branches not shaded you?
You take while I give and then you take more
My lands you eroded and corroded,
All my trees you cut down,
Taken to your factories to line your pockets,
My skin burns and,
I cant breathe,

Please help me,

Like a snake shedding its dead skin,
My land can flourish once again
Like the ants that roam this earth,
Hard work won’t go unheard,
Like the rainbow that shines so brightly after a storm,
Hope is not lost,
The wind welcomes any,
And everyone as it carries my wish in its breeze,
But it's up to you to fulfill it.
