Mother Nature

Scorched plants that are the dullest of dull greys,
I see more brightness in my grandad’s album.
Terrific, tall, Tasmanian trees are prey,
To storms and landslides working in tandem.
Destructive oceans roaring at the coast side,
Waiting to capture innocent people.
Mysterious creatures lurk with arms open wide,
Sharks, squids and stingrays can be quite lethal.
Tall mountains oh so intimidating,
The silent killer of ambitious dreams.
“Climb me, your fulfilled dream is awaiting,”
All they do is stop your flowing bloodstreams.
But oh, how glorious are you Mother Nature,
I can’t think of anything that is greater!
