Mr. Bear

I see Mr. Bear laying flat on my clean bed
but I look and examine closer below his golden brown head
I take a step, leaning closer to the burn mark that i did by putting it under a light
This sight vividly took me back to that very night
I remember more richly tainted memories embedded in my mind
A Dark Grey Ralph Lauren vest I put on him, the smallest I could find.
I clearly remember my older sister and I playing with each other’s toys
Our relatively clean bears and toys pretending that they make ‘noice’
These memories will be immortal in my brain
Being without him would make me go insane
