Mum

As I watched her leave with tears sliding against my face, all I could wonder was what would happen next. Broken inside, feeling empty, made me wonder if she even cared? Did she even care about my feelings or was she just too cold-hearted? The thoughts inside my head pounded on the doors, whilst overflowing out of my shaking mouth. Empty, empty, empty was all I felt when she left. I hated her, but she was my mother after all.
