With my blanket, I snuggle up at night
It is as soft as wool and very bright
A small blanket
A colourful piece of art
I sleep soundly with it
It is warmer than an electric blanket

When I wad born, I received the blanket as a gift
It was given by my mum's friend
Whenever my spirits need a lift
I am with my blanket, at the day's end
Then I remember my baby times
Then my spirits begin to climb
And my happiness is reborn
I sleep, as soundly as a cob in a corn
