My Day

What a nice hot day

And as I play

I see a lady bug crawl past

In the long green grass

Hopefully it doesn’t rain

The weather today is insane

I then lay out my towel

All I can remember is Mr. Owl

The owl who just sat in the tree

So high up it has a good view of the sea

He has been alone ever since

He lost his prince

I know what it feels like to lose a prince

I have been upset ever since

My dad meant every bit of me

I guess it was never meant to be

When I come here it reminds me of him

I think it is about time I go for a swim
