My first soccer medal

I received it when I was five years old
It was a very warm and breezy morning
When we were playing I scored the winning goal
I was really proud of myself
We won the match
After that my whole team received a medal
As soon as I laid eyes on it I was hooked
I knew I would have to keep it in my possession forever
It was very shiny and it gleamed a rich gold in the sunlight
It felt hard and smooth and it was quite heavy
Until this day I still look at it and admire it
If I lost it or it got broken I would be very devastated
And nothing could ever replace it.
