On my shelf at home,
crying out when spun.
I look up at my globe,
look back here a crash! bash! smash!
Look it was flying everywhere
parts of the world scattered everywhere,
like when the asteroid hit.
Flying everywhere there is Australia,
flying around the room, crashing to the ground
like when the Titanic hit an ice berg sinking like mad.
The globe's the oldest in the family;
I can’t tell you how many years we’ve had it.
My great, great grandma was the first owner,
now it’s mine, all mine.
Had it for a month or two,
still for me, it’s brand new.
I like to look around the world
For countries but still
it’s really special to me.
