My Grandmother's Bakery

With the sweet sugar scrolls and savoury sausage rolls with a cherry on top.
Smells nice like sweet cakes getting iced,
The customers are crazy for the creamy buns and the sticky date puddings.
The bakery is a train station, there are so many people.

As I watch my mum and dad bake the cake for my birthday, I think of how nice it will be to eat.
My grandma lets me be the taste tester and it's delicious
My tummy tingles when I taste test because of the soft texture.

But one day there was no more bakery.
No more taste testing.
No watching the baking.
No more food.
