My Hopes for the Future

May animals not be over-hunted
May the flowers growing be beautifully scented
Plants grow and flourish with wonderful colours
trees should grow together like brothers
I hope for people to grow trees and plants
Work together to make great plans
May the environment always thrive
and forever survive
May all threatened species live on and on
If we help them they’ll never be gone
On and on we must be strong
for we know what is right and wrong
I still hear the rustle of leaves
I hope this sound never leaves
See different creatures live in peace
may their numbers rarely cease
May the droughts be blessed with cool, cold rain
May the sun control floods like a drain
May forests expand across the land
Happy should be everyone
