My outside self wears jean and sneakers
Listening to all sorts of speakers
Hair parted down the middle
And hates the sound of a fiddle
My outside self is loud
But only a little voice in a crowd
Practicing music day and night
Making sure that it sounds right

My inside self is more reserved
Like a soft singing of a little bird
Heart so soft it could melt in an instant
Ideas in my mind are always existent
Songs are ringing in my head
Even when it’s time to go to bed
My dreams float delicately in the air
Frolicking around like innocent deer

Inside and outside I love myself both
I want it to stay this way like a soft sailing boat
Waiting to arrive at its destination
Knowing the journey has no limitations
