The rectangular object,
Which can be opened
To reveal its mysteries inside.
It is a tool of life,
It makes life so much easier.
Its popularity is rising,
With unrivalled users,
Maybe with the exception of its relative and rival,
The phone.
They are similar in many ways,
Just like family,
They are portable,
And are easy and fun to use.
However, the laptop can be a distraction,
A tool for your procrastination,
Forcing last minute presentations.
Many, many people fall for its beauty,
And though I laugh at their foolishness
They are no worse…
Than I.
