My Leaf

How silently I tumbled town
To rest upon the ground
Beneath the trees without a care
Feeling hopeless with despair
As I flew away
The light turned dark
The wind was strong
It felt like it was ready to attack
Suddenly it stopped
I prepared to crash
BANG! I looked to see
What was around me
There was no sign
I was in the middle of nowhere
Would I ever be able to come back to the tree?
