My Little Friend

When I was a young lad,
I was looking pretty bad,
Then Boom! I was at the hospital,
Suffering from pneumonia.

But my dad helped me grow strong,
And not by singing me a song,
But by buying me a koala,
That is my gold, my treasure.

I have kept it for many years,
As it appears,
That it is still on my bed,
Till this very day.

Their outfit is amazing,
You might even say it’s blazing,
It is as colourful as a rainbow,
With big blue shoes the colour of the deep blue sea.

I do indeed love their face,
As it is certainly not a disgrace,
They have big fluffy and cuddly ears,
I love them sooooo much.
