My Lucky Coin

It is as hard as a diamond,
But very smooth and small.
It’s circular like the world,
But a million times smaller.

It is actually about the size of a rubber,
And as smooth as one too.
There is a kiwi next to ferns on the front,
On the back there is Queen Elizabeth II.

It is a rolling tyre,
But if dropped it will rattle like my Grandad's tinny.
It is a trader,
It is like a kookaburra.

I keep it in an Eclipse mint container
So it does not get lost.
People think it is pretty much worthless,
But not me, it is my lucky coin.
