My Protector

Big nose,
Little paws,
Fluffy fur like cotton candy,
Ears as pointy as little corn chips with white tips of sugar,
Eyes sparkle like tiny little stars,
Had a breath like rotten eggs,
Orange like spicy hot ginger,
Black like the midnight darkness,
Brown like melted chocolate.
He howled like a wolf at the moon some nights,
Like a flash of lightning as he ran through the park,
Fluffy and furry he kept me warm,
But he's now up in heaven,
With me only in spirit,
Watching me from above,
He’s my guard,
My protector.
