My Senses of the Forest

I can see the clear, blue sky,
That had no clouds in the sight of my eye.
I can see the dancing trees,
And the wind carries the green leaves.
I can smell the air of wet, muddy dirt,
Which also stained my smelly shirt.
But the fragrance of that beautiful picked flower,
Overtook my body and gave me a feeling of power.
I can hear the whispers of the cool breeze,
And the sound of the busy buzzing bees.
The crickets and frogs sang all day,
And the trees continued to gently sway.
I can taste the handful of juicy berries,
And also find a tree of delicious cherries.
I soon gulped a bottle of water,
As the sun becomes hotter and hotter.
I felt a shiver up my spine,
When my skin brushed against the hanging vines.
After a wonderful day, it's time to take a rest,
These are my senses of the forest.
