My Shining Knight

As I look into you,
I see a reflection.
A reflection of someone,
That someone is me.
You’re a crystal clear lake,
You see everything about me,
And you show me a path of life,
And a reflection of my life.
I’m not the ideal person,
I get off track sometimes,
And I can’t get back
But I trust you, your sense and your words of wisdom,
To guide me through bad times and make me a better person.
Sometimes I lose control and I don’t know what to do,
And I just feel so shattered inside out,
But your advice takes me through all the pain,
And makes me stronger.
You show me the light,
You tell me what’s bright
You are my shining knight.
