My Spikes

It is kept amongst the other shoes, protected by a bag
My spikes are spiky on the bottom and soft on the top
The fluor green colour shines
Sounds like scraping when in proper use
I got it from a little running shop
Because of how fast I can run
Special because of what it’s done
It has made me break my personal bests
Reminds me of winning races
I look at my Spikes before a race
Gives me confidence to go and win
If they were lost, I would look like there is no tomorrow
I will keep them forever for the memories
Looking back at them when I am older
Remembering all the things my Spikes holds
All the things my Spikes provided me
They make me run insanely fast
That’s why I will always keep my Spikes
