My Teddy

Left at home alone...

His heart of magic,
Reminds him that I am not near.
As luminous as the moonlight,
Secretly walking across the house.
His bow as red as a clouds nose,
Asking where the humans have gone.
Drowsily waking up an abundance of friends.
Time passes.......

Desperately, watching the car coming in,
Observing an elegant new photo just been bought.
Hearing the words, "I really missed you!!"
Surprising cuddles and kisses all over.
Watching curiously as unpacking occur,
Heart softening with caresses and love.
Not surprised by the significance held,
I hugged my favourite teddy!
