My Teddy Bear

My teddy bear was brighter before
with four-colour coats
pink, like pink roses
blue as sky
yellow, like yellow crows
purple as butterfly
black eyes that always wink at me
with sparkly shiny bow
She's special than anything
But......
my teddy is old and wonky and not brighter than before
I showed it to my mummy
the colour makes it sad
my teddy is so gone.
Her colours, none can be seen
her eyes are nearly lost
It makes me cry to look at her
When mummy showed my teddy
It was as good as new
Colours back bright
Eyes back tight
When I talk to her
She looks straight back at me
And when I went to bed
She was with me all night
I LOVE my teddy bear
As much as I like my FAMILY
