My Trophy

It was a summer morning at 11:45am,
I’m really pumped on playing my grand final.
There is 2 minutes left,
It's 4 all on the score board
There is 1 minute of playing time,
My coach calls time out.
“Put 100% into the last 30 seconds”.
We tried our best and Unleashed scored.
I wasn’t surprised that we lost because
Unleashed were undefeated.
When I look at my trophy I see memories of our team losing to Unleashed.
I will never forget that my mum cheered me on
All the way.
I have so many trophies at home though this one is my favourite.
