Grey and white helmet, from my father and mother,
Taking up my time, I don’t need a lover,
Portal to a new kind of world,
When I put my helmet on.

It keeps me safe like a baby in its mother’s arms
Like I’m in a world with warm tropical palms.
A mini shelter for my head,
Feeling like i’m in my bed.

Left in that old stinky box,
I put you on my head.
Everyone is like “Man that helmet rocks”,
Even though I would rather it to red.

Even though it doesn’t make me as fast as a cheetah,
But it definitely tops the cool-o-meter!
I’d put it on, take a breath,
It’s so safe, I’ll never see death.

It’s silky like marshmallows and smooth like baby’s skin,
It might get rough or smashed like a soccer player’s shin.
Now let’s give a clap to a safe invention,
That hardly even gets a mention.
