Big and small leaves float to the ground,
Some are green, red or even yellow.
The sun shines through the leaves and trees.
Waterfalls are filling a river with water,
The river leads the water to a beautiful lake.
Tall, thick trees fill the area.
Bright green grass surrounds the trees.
Tall trees reach up to the clouds,
Smaller trees like to stay below.
Birds sing their songs up high.
The leaves sway in the cold, gentle breeze.
Raindrops slowly slither off leaves as it rains,
They land with a quiet ‘plop’ once they hit the ground.
These raindrops make their way down into the soil.
As it rains, worms make their way to the surface.
The wet soil allows the worms to wriggle their way around.
In summer, the leaves are a bright chlorophyll,
In autumn, the leaves turn into a beautiful shade of red,
In winter, those leaves gently fall to the ground,
In spring, beautiful, elegant flowers bloom.
