Here there and everywhere all around us
The crunch underfoot of freshly dropped leaves
People are always kicking up a fuss 
When you should take steps back and breathe with ease
Standing on the ground, connection runs deep 
Through our blood runs the oxygen we share
They help provide the air that helps us sleep
and with each of our breaths we take we care
Deep in our souls there's love that we hold dear
For our land, our country, nature herself
She helps us to breathe, to keep our minds clear
To help us become content with oneself
Our connection to nature, diminished
And one day our world will all be finished
