Nature's Trauma

Through the forest during the night everybody was in fright because of the terrible sight.

 We signaled our mates before it was too late.

 The threat made us distressed. 

Shivers were sent down our spine.

 The monsters started to hike, they held their weapons high ready to strike.

No bird was seen drifting across the sky, no monkey seen soaring vine to vine.

The sky turned dull as if the black hole had sucked all the happiness away. 

Unaware of what was going to happen next.

We waited,                            whispering under our breaths, GO AWAY PLEASE GO AWAY! 

One by one, my friends and family were taken away until all that was left was the screeches of my friends echoing non-stop.
