No Time

Actions of pollution, what have we done?

The monsters we’ve become,

Ruining lives, ecosystems and habitats

And even ourselves,

Destruction of the air we share.

We no longer live for human desire,

The things we love and admire are dying.

All of our needs cannot be catered to,

Costing us money and lives.

I can’t verbally express the damage,

We need to turn back now

And face this ongoing problem.

Animals slowly disappearing,

If only we could turn back time,

To identify what we have caused

We try to take our time.

Time is of the essence.

I'm tired of trying to accomplish something impossible

So please make an effort

To save our safe place.
