Blowing through the wind,
Soaring with light dimmed.
Stars are shining bright,
Watch as it takes flight.
Feathers soft as clouds,
“I’ll never fall” it vowed.
Dusk soon turned to dawn,
With all spirits torn.
The sky was one big void,
He was overjoyed,
Falling through the air,
Lifeless with no care.
Wings as rouge as rubies,
This amazing creature of beauty,
“Take me home,” he thought,
“I don’t want to be caught.”
Suddenly the wind changed,
His thoughts were rearranged.
Up into the night,
Its brand new future bright.
