Numbat

The numbat is the trees pushing against each other, swaying together as one.

Fields of forests, soft warm patches of sunlight falling on me.

Festive forests frolicking around, flourishing the big trees.

The forest is getting angry, whistling as the night falls.

Hearing the trees thumping as they hit the ground, humans hurriedly scuttling away. 

Foxes pouncing and my home getting teared away, how long until all my loved ones are gone?

Hearing the trees thumping as they hit the ground, humans hurriedly dash away, when will they stop and think of all the animals and habitats they are hurting.
