Numbats

Numbats are grey like clouds,
But they are not loud,
They have white stripes,
A tail that swipes.
They need to hide from foxes,
And they don’t hide in boxes.
You might find them in a log,
We will never see them in fog.
Numbats live in WA,
They are active during the day.
You’ll find them near wandoo trees.
No-where near big rough seas.
With their sticky long tongue, they find food.
They swallow it whole not chewed.
They eat white ants.
Or termites when they cant.
