Those who observe have something to learn,

For nature always has something to tell.

You see…

When the kangaroos are hopping away,

Something is coming from not so far away.

When the currawongs start to call,

Rain shall soon begin to fall.

When the flowers start to bloom,

Spring shall come soon.

When the birds don’t make a sound,

 A snake is around.

When the cockatoos fly overhead,

Summer shall be lead.

And when the kapok flowers bloom in a batch,

The turtle eggs will soon start to hatch.

Nature always has something to tell…
