OCEAN

Scared!
No going back, 
Darkness filling my soul. 
Waves crashing,
My fears have come.
Legs kicking,
Heart panting,
Danger ready to pounce.
Breath quickening,
Imagination running wild, 
Grey clouds appearing.
Things stabbing my feet,
Creatures lurking beneath me.
Waves thundering,   
Lightning striking in the distance,
Thunder louder than a concert.
Waves ready to swallow me whole, 
Eyes closed, 
The ocean is a nightmare,
