I have watched millennia of love, lying, and losing,

War, hate and debate,

My shoreline is a home to many,

Like a sanctuary I am.

My waves scamper in and out,

Scurrying to the bank.

Land is my predecessor,

But he still calls me his own.

My heart is polluted, rubbish and waste,

But no endeavor is made to save me from its embrace.

I shout and shed tears, but ignorance wraps your ears,

I am suppressed by unawareness.

As they tread upon me, I can only see,

The monsters who decided.
