Waves crashing on the shore,

The taste of the salt will never bore.

The beauty in the blues,

Blends the aqua with the hues,

we will never not adore.

But we really never knew.

These plastic bags and bottles float,

Our creatures had them in broken throats.

Fish and turtles, birds, and whales,

Their fate, a tragedy that prevails.

Oil spills and toxic wastes,

A deadly stew

That we have misplaced.

Chemicals and pollutants reign,

The ocean's beauty is now in vain.

It is time to act and change our ways,

Before the ocean's beauty fades.

Reduce, reuse, and recycle, too,

Let us save our seas.

Only up to you.
