the bowl is rough and shaped like a canoe
it is all different shades of cocoa brown
it holds berries flake yams and green plum
it can give you splinters
it is old and has dents
it is bumpy when you run your hand across
it doesn’t break it has been used many times
it has traveled far and wide from one to another
berries leaves and bush tomatoes have been smashed in this bowl
it smells like it has been carved out of eucalyptus punctata
