One with the forest

I lie at night

Looking up at the trees

Feeling the cool breeze

Forgetting everything that has ever happened

For I am one with the forest

Quiet but eerily loud

Beneath the dark, thick clouds

And I watch as creatures crawl by

For I am one with the forest

For however large or small I am

I feel at peace

The forest is my home, my family and my life
