Our Aussie Animals

Kangaroos and cockatoos,
Amongst the trees and shrubs;
Beneath the soil you will find
Millipedes and bugs
In a tree a dozy koala,
Taking an afternoon nap;
Beneath the murky waters,
A crocodile waiting to snap!
In the lake a school of fish
Are sparkling in the sun,
And on the rocks are some funny
Wallabies having lots of fun.
In the scorching Aussie outback
Where the wild dingoes roam;
Here these sunbaking goannas
Call this place their home.
Let’s look after all of them
So our world is full of joy;
Then kids can keep on loving them,
Every girl and boy.
