The ocean, my heart, my home, my place of bliss,

The place I frolic around in the crystalline water.

Where I feel like a dove let go from a cage of strain.

My escape is where the waves crash down on the shore,

Where the vibrant sunset bounces against the enigmatic water.

A gallery filled with happy memories.

I gaze at the wonderous sight of the powerful waves rolling towards the shore,

Knowing that there are many surprises to be found,

More than just the fluorescent fish playing beside the unique coral,

More than the bottom of the unfathomable Mariana trench.

I inhaled, the saline aroma soared past the point of my nose,

Awakening me from my contemplating.

I took a glimpse of the water,

The seagulls soared and swooped down from all directions.

I could hear the waves collide and overlap,

The water was calling for me.

“Splash,” the frigid water caught me.

The briny, chilly water trickled down my face and into the side of my mouth.

The waves are robust and firm, ramming into the back of my ankles,

The many seas are worth the world, filled with mystery and heart.
