Beyond the mere comfort of our homes,

Lies an enchanted landscape, entrapped in its beauty.

A globe of flourishing life,

with the greenest of plants, and the skies pure blue.

A complex network of insects,

A verdant cluster of leaves.

The merry glass panes of life,

Shattered by man's creation.

The earth weeps in despondency,

The agony, the fear

As it watches itself deteriorate,

Betrayal before its burning eyes.

The once refreshed earth, now drowned in intoxicating fumes,

The withering plants dreaming of when they could bloom,

Although the idea is sickening,

It's the truth.
