Our Friend, Nature

Sheer delight, isn’t it?
You, me and our friend nature.
The sky with its healthy blue shine danced with its friend the clouds.
Trees watched, wanting to join in with the duo.
I miss this.
Leaves rustled and whispered words of song that hinted past happenings.
The sun slowly descended saying goodnight while the moon said good morning.
Only if time didn’t have to tick over.
Flowers surrounded. Branches swayed with the breeze while it whistled a jolly tune of song.
Trees, the true witness. Wise and old. Baring news of old and new but mute to the response.
Only if we could have done this one last time.
Goodbye.
The tree swayed in a unique way while he turned his back. It too said goodbye, baring the news of never seeing him again.
She too wished time didn’t tick over.
Nature was witness, and time the accountable.
