Outside my window...

Outside my window is a place I crave to see,
A khaki scenery, implanted with vivacity,
Whimsical fluorescence, pave its way through into spring,
Nostalgic aromas clutter towards our nasal receptors,
As Déjà vu increases the Serotonin, that tremble within our bodies,
like butterflies against the azure opal sky,
coiling in sync, against the arms of the trees.
Outside my window is a place which I can only dream,
A timberland surrounded by the woodland scent of many Oaktree’s,
Creatures of diversity, materialised through the paper-thin sheets of the trees,
Which were tragically carved out, as they were taken down six feet deep,
By the hands of the inhumane.
Outside my window is my reality,
The Impenetrable physique of gasoline, engulfing the clouds, once unpolluted white manifesting into something not so bright,
Extinction of trees, substituted by the titanium buildings, blinding my vision of the world beyond,
My breath begins to cluster, as the concentrated pollutants, slit through my lungs,
This isn’t the place in which I want to be, I just want to escape this reality,
We crush and crumble this earth, with our bare hands, we must stop before time ends.
