Past, Present and Future

Once, nature ruled the land
People were scarce
Before the population began to expand
Society wasn’t so complex
Humans watched the destruction firsthand

People play god
Society evolves like cell
Stopping nature does seem odd
All the other species have no way to rebel
There’s no longer any time to prod

But it can all change
Nature can rule once again
All that’s required is a small exchange
To end the reign of men
And to let mother nature rise
