I hold in my hands a part of the sea
moving the colour, swirling the water

coral shimmers out in the ocean
seaweed swishes around the fish

fish with tails like paper fans
sharks slide past, casting shadows

blue blends with the aqua shades
the sun on the light like the water-top

I turn it over in my fingers
rub the rough and jagged bumps

with my thumbs, see them under the sea
shadowed edges in rocky caves
