Platypus, an extraordinary animal

Waves swooshing.

Wind swaying.

As I lay here all alone.

With no place to call home.

My arms lay dry as water is far away. 

I can't make it. 

My Mother, swept away by the waves of the river.

My Father, captured and placed into the local zoo.

I'm all alone, no family, no friends, no one. 

What should I do, stay here or leave?

The Humans could find me soon, and take me into captivity.

I have no clue what I should do.
