Power without knowledge is dangerous.

Humanity should’ve known that long ago

But instead, we set our hearts onto a so-called better future…

We constructed huge buildings, dreaming of great cities,

We ripped trees from the ground for farms

We painted the water black with our carelessness

We caused destruction almost beyond reform.

We didn’t understand that power wasn’t the solution

Until almost too late

So now that we know, we must begin:

Changing our dreams, fixing our mistakes

We can change for nature, for Earth

We can change to bring back trees, landscapes

To reform our world, to save nature,

We can and must.

Though hope has almost vanished,

We still have a chance

We need knowledge and action, not power

To save everything we are lucky to have.
