Pretty Blue

As round as a pompom,
Or bath bomb,
As blue as a smurf.
As broken as being bankrupt,
It glitters like nail polish in the sun,
As if I have a rainbow in my hand.
It is pearly white,
As white as an eyeball,
Hard as a skull.
To touch,
It is rough,
Like an old piece of wood.
As hollow as a dog’s kennel,
It smells like pomegranate and rose,
I love my Pretty Blue.
